Average everyday cobalt is nothing terrible. Might get a rash from it. Cobalt-60 on the other hand is something you simply need to stand near for it to kill you.

Hmmmm im not sure which version of cobalt i need which ever one goes into lithium batteries. I could have sworn the cobalt mined by people in Africa had adverse health effects from a documentary i watched but maybe im thinking something else

@hell_hound7 Yes, the situation with the miners is different. You do not want to inhale cobalt dust nor eat any amount of cobalt. With the miners, cobalt dust from breaking apart the ore is floating about. Also the dust gets everywhere and contaminates their hands which leads to ingestion.However, if you simply have an ingot of cobalt, it isn't going to do anything aside from maybe give you a rash if you touch it if you have sensitive skin.

Ahhh ok but yeah i found a place selling cobalt bars. I might have to pick it up after buying rhuenium bars. I would very much like rhondium but that i havent been able to find for sale because its so rare.

@yaasshat The big stone in my ring is moisannite. It's still expensive so just because it's not diamond doesn't mean anything to me. I still only wear it on special occasions because I'm afraid I'll damage it, lose it, or get robbed. It's not a ring you walk around with. Also the reason why I bought fake rings that are a 10th of It's cost to wear every day and for traveling.
