Going old school canadian animation soundtrack "Rock and Rule" w/ Cheap Trick. This ani was an early project featuring Susan Roman, the English VA for all the Sailor Moons (S Jupiter) among others.. It is a representative style that influenced anime as JP borrowed much, like Nelvava, from the Hanna-Barbara animation techniques and of course perfected them decades ago. The film was lost in a vault fire (with old Dr. Whos) and has been reconstructed from bootlegs and screeners the studio bough back from the public or salvaged theater reels. This was a controversial film at the time as Heavy Metal was the titan of adult targeted animated movies. It was heavily edited for American TV due to demonic summoning and suggestive clothing for a cartoon. Robotech came onto the American scene about this time from JP and also featured a idol singer as the bane of the enemy. Lynn Minmay..... Themes used today in anime: Building can transform elaborately into flying vehicles and the eye scaling may look familiar.... The guy with glasses always knows what to do.
