Thanks for the input peeps. Sleep Paralysis is indeed a mental test. I've never had anything happen to me physically during it, and didn't have much fear associated with it. Sometimes, it's hard for me to snap out of it. I've been in that state for what felt like over an hour one time. I find people who usually have negative experiences with it, to have a fear based mindset. Then that fear emanates a wide range of experiences. For me personally: Sleep Paralysis is my gateway toward Astral Projection, having Out of Body experiences. When I'm in that state, instead of trying to get out of it now, I go deeper into it. Then poof I'm no longer in my body. Though, of course can't really prove anything I'm saying here lol. Just my own personal experience. I'll be able to tell more stories later, though idk if this forum is suitable for some stuff lol. I tend to view things on a metaphysical level, when it comes to these topics. I'd definitely count cryptids, and anything else out of the ordinary! House Gnomes is a new one to me, but don't doubt it.

Fairy spirits like gnomes are actually kinda a focus area of research for me, and cryptids in general are something I find fascinating. Just like most supernatural topics, so much bullshit surrounds them though, and since I have no way of perceiving them on a regular basis, I can't really distinguish between what may be factual, and what may be a very well put together hoax... So yeah, great topic to throw in the mix. Hmm, using sleep paralysis to trigger astro projection. Interesting. Like I've heard of using similar methods to induce OBEs, but a lot of those involve tricking your body to sleep while keeping the conscious mind awake. Unfortunately I stopped having SP, so I can't really do it. Most of my astro projection is reached through meditation. Although I have a hard time remaining grounded to the localized spiritual plane, and generally end up somewhere in the higher planes where its kinda hard to remember your an individual. I did manage it once though, then freaked my brother and father out a little when I told them what they were doing. Although since my brother practices this sort of stuff too, he just warded his room. #Whensiblingrivalrygetsmetaphisical Other than that though, its hard for me to seperate placebo from objective reality when in that state of focus, so I don't really know how much of it was real or not.
