Pokémon. It was so everywhere that obviously it drew me in and got me to play the games.

I think it was Dragon Ball but it may have been Pokemon. Don't remember since I was a wee lad.

i watched some pokemon movies as a kid, but i never really truly got into the anime then. i was mostly into the games.

First time I really dived into Anime was with Bleach. Dubs were really far behind and a new episode hadn't released on Adult Swim in a while so I just said fuck it and started watching it subbed online. After that it was Naruto and One Piece.

Same. Especially with how One Piece was screwed the most by 4Kids. Even sadder when Toonami dropped it at Thriller Bark’s climax after they BROUGHT it back again since Skypiea.

I watched the occasional pokemon when it was on TV in the morning but the first anime I got into properly was Dragon Ball
