Dragon Ball was already mentioned so... I mean, JoJo technically counts. It's an 80's manga lol. Haven't got around to them yet but I plan to watch the early Gundam seasons.

Most of my favorite stuff from that era are mecha anime since it was essentially the golden age for mecha. Legend of the Galactic Heroes Record of the Lodoss War Macross: Do you remember love? Aura Battler Dunbine Zeta Gundam Armored Trooper Votoms SPT Layzner Space Runaway Ideon Fang of the Sun Dougram Urusei Yatsura Lupin the 3rd Kimagure Orange Road Space Adventure Cobra

Jeez, I forget sometimes how long its been since Araki started writing Phantom Blood. Despite it being my favorite manga it's easy to let it slip your mind with a new chapter of Jojolion coming out monthly.

Maison Ikkoku It's my favorite romcom, regardless of era!
