I almost exclusively read shoujo authored by males and shounen authored by females lol. Supposedly chihayafuru is josei but I solidly place it in the shounen sports category lol. Quite a bit of sports manga ends up like this. My favorites are all competition and adventure based, aimed at any audience. I often find my self watching so called "children's" shows because of my desire for energetic and clean stories

I dream of being an immortal time traveller who was cursed!I like historical ones because I love learning..
Shoujo or otome is cute and sometimes they make my ワクワク!Sometimes I behave like girls around my age hah
I love seiyuu in otome stuff... for example Sakurai Takahiro...Kaji Yuki...Midorikawa Hikaru...

kinos journey is my favorite, it has different setting and it makes you think. anime that doesnt follow any rules maybe. not normal i guess

Usually a contemporary Japan setting slice of life style. Some Kyoto Animation ones are my favorite examples.
