What was the one anime that made you a fan?

My 1st anime was card captor sakura waaaay back in childhood. The 1st anime i liked was Case Closed! And what got me hooked onto anime is a cliche... Naruto! And i use this same cliche to make normies hook onto anime like a drug!

For me, as ive mentioned on my profile, is sailor moon for both anime and manga. I loved the fact that a show was about a klutz, ditzy, girl being a magical girl amd fighting bad guys. I mean at that time, the only super hero's who were powerful girls was a small handful. (Dc/marvel.) And most were guys. Plus Naoko-sama the creator of sailor moons art style was beautiful to me. More in the manga than anime. She made the characters loom beautiful, even the bad guys.
