I never read the light novel but I like the manga well enough, as for the anime adaption I dont really get the appeal. The goblin slayer is animated with this awful cg model that looks like a ps1 prerender 80% of the time, even when hes not moving or doing anything that would explain the need for a cg model in the first place. Its also directs alot of the scenes worse than the manga and misses some pretty iconic shots. I understand the appeal of seeing the show animated but from the episodes I watched it just feels like a lazy cash grab and if this show appeals to you then you would probably enjoy the manga way more than this adaptation.
