'Caligula' Ep. 01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1196/90748.jpg Synopsis: Mobius is a perfect digital world for the imagined benefit of humanity by μ, a virtual idol program that attained sentience and self-awareness. Only humans who are suffering in the real world and strongly relate to μ's songs are lured into Mobius. Once they enter, people often forget that the real world exists. Regardless of age or gender, they are turned into students and forced to experience school life over and over, which μ considers "the most radiant time in a person's life." --- There's a lot of philosophical talk about psychology in the beginning. Then everything starts getting all messed up. Like the worlds gone crazy messed up. Or maybe he's just gone crazy. Then the monsters show up. And then there was shooting and flames. It's supposed to be an action fantasy, but honestly I have no idea what's going on in that show from the first episode.

'Nil Admirari no Tenbin - Teito Genwaku Kitan' Ep. 01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/8/87560.jpg Synopsis The Taishou era didn't end in 15 years, but went on for another 25. In order to protect her waning family, a girl resolves to marry a man she doesn't even know the name of. However, just before the marriage was to take place, the girl's younger brother mysteriously committed suicide by self-immolation and was found holding an old book in his hands. Appearing before the bewildered young girl was the "Imperial Library Intelligence Asset Management Bureau," more commonly referred to as "Fukurou." According to these men, there exists "Maremono," which are books that greatly affect their readers. On top of that, ever since the incident involving the girl's younger brother, she unwittingly gains the ability to see "Auras" (the sentiments of the Maremono which manifest as bright lights and are usually invisible to humans). It was as though fate were trying to drag the young girl in its flames. And then, even though apprehensive, the girl chooses to venture outside her bird cage. Jealousy, hatred, scorn, compassion, and love. What awaited the girl was the darkness of betrayal that had already begun to bewitchingly inlay the imperial capital. Toyed by and swayed within that darkness, will the young girl finally reach the truth after her struggles, or...? --- It's a reverse harem with a bunch of pretty boys. Also, that's a really crappily lit hall. If you watch it, you'll know exactly what scene I mean. It says a lot about the style of the story. It's super over dramatic and cliché. Like an old romance movie. As I'm not a fan of this genre, it was painful to watch.

'Shokugeki no Soma S3' https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1046/91216.jpg Synopsis: Shokugeki no Soma 3rd season. --- If you don't already know what this show is about, you're kinda late to be starting. Go back and watch S1. For the rest of you. Enjoy the season 3. I hope Erina's dad chokes on his food.

'Steins;Gate 0' Ep. 01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1031/90444.jpg Synopsis: The dark untold story of Steins;Gate that leads with the eccentric mad scientist Okabe, struggling to recover from a failed attempt at rescuing Kurisu. He decides to give up and abandons his lively scientist alter ego, in pursuit to forget the past. When all seems to be normal, he is seemingly pulled back into the past by meeting an acquaintance of Kurisu, who tells him that they have begun testing a device that stores the memory of a human and creates a simulation of them with their characteristics and personalities. Okabe begins testing and finds out that the simulation of Kurisu has brought back anguish and some new unexpected tragedies. Zero is a side story that explores events from the Beta Attractor Field's future that contribute in making the end of the original story possible. --- Holly #*(@, they haven't skipped a beat from the last series. When I first started watching, I was like what the hells is going on. But then they jump right back down that dark emotional rabbit hole, and right back into the story full bore. This is looking to be a great season. If by some chance you don't know this anime. Go back and binge watch the first series. It's a must watch anime on everyone's list. And you'll definitely want to know what's going on before you start the new season. I've been so looking forward to this one. I hope it continues to live up to the first series.

'Golden Kamuy' Ep.01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/6/88518.jpg Synopsis: In Hokkaido, the far northern lands of Japan, Sugimoto survived the Russo-Japanese war of the Meiji era. Nicknamed "Sugimoto the Immortal" during the war, he now seeks the riches promised by the gold rush in hopes of saving the widowed wife of his now deceased comrade from the war. During his hunt of gold, he finds hints of a hidden stash of gold by corrupt criminals. Partnering with an Ainu girl that saves his life from the harsh climates of the north, they venture into a survival adventure to race against the criminals that seek the hidden stash. --- Lmao... He actually tried to punch it!... That was too comical and cliché. But great stuff. Interesting story. A bit morbid at the end though.

Last Period - Owarinaki Rasen no Monogatari https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1538/90420.jpg Synopsis: "Period" is how magic users called who beat "Spiral"—monsters that were summoned from isolation. Due to the rise of these beings, 14-year-old apprentice Period Haru, who is a part of the Eighth Arc-end Division, is called to break the cycle and cast himself into the endless battle. However, a mysterious thievery occurred and sank the division into bankruptcy, forcing Haru and his other comrades have to leave their headquarters. To rebuild a branch, they have to overcome quest after quest. ---- This one is silly on a childish level. And just plain stupid at parts. But it is a comedy. That's really all I have to say about it. Oh, and they stole that line from 'Excel Saga'.

Started watching Golden Kamuy, while the CGI might be divisive the plot seemed solid for the first episode and I have heard that the manga is great.

Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii is so good! remind me of Gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun. Humor, cosplayer, office workers, romantic interest and gamer in one episode! Loving the cast as well!
