Yeah. I'm just scared that I will spend lots of time writing a story I truly believe in only to find out that someone else with a very similar written story made it big first so I don't even stand a chance.

Likewise :) It is difficult though because lately I've been writing what I think will sell, not what I feel the way my story should go, which is a very big problem.

Wow, thats incredible. I can write in a dark genre, but it's not the only genre I can write it. Its just one that comes naturally for me.

Thanks :) yeah, death is an interesting thing. ever had a death fantasy? i have. my novel actually begins with my own personal one, or at least something like it. different details, but same concept. i dream of taking my lover's place in dying, then bleeding to death in their arms while telling them how i wish for them to go on and that i wanted it to be that way.
