Well actually there is something fairly unique about my area. Look at a geographical map of Iowa. I live in Dubuque county next to the Mississippi river. Iowa is flat and then you reach Dubuque. These random bluffs actually deflect bad storms. Also I can read the Radar and tell right where a tornado would be so I know if it will be hit or miss. Dubuque has not been hit by a tornado in my whole life time. actually earth homes ar becoming more poplar here.
