Weather Alert

Tornado sirens went off today at 3:05pm, preceeding unconfirmed reports of multiple tornado/funnel cloud sightings in various areas (outside of lone tree, along the interstate, among others) in Muscatine County. As of this point, the majority of the storm has passed Muscatine county and is in the northeastern area, and the all clear sirens have sounded. In Muscatine there have been unconfirmed reports of cars stranded in flood water on third street near Muscabus dropoff, and possibly further inland. Schools including Jefferson were on lockdown during the worst part of the storm.

We may bring you pictures or more information as it becomes available.

You aren't telling me anything I didn't already know. Rotation can be detected 12-20 minutes before a funnel cloud forms, which is why most warnings are doppler-indicated.

You Serious? Come on, even morons know that the watch is what has been extended until 8, not the warning. Please tell me you know the difference between a warning and a watch. Lone Tree has an interstate? News to me.
