Let's see, what to say.....well I guess I should start from the beginning right? I'm Alex, born in Canada but been on there shores for a very long time now.
I am a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bristol investigating various aspects of past/present and future meteorological stuff that most would probably think quite dull! But I do love it and it gives me the chance to fulfil my passion in travelling, which I have been very fortunate to have been to many fantastic places so far. For me there is nothing better in this world then going somewhere new and different (especially getting off the beaten track).
Otherwise I like most of the normal things everyone most likely lists like movies, pubs/bars, night out, classical and contemporary concerts, etc.. etc... Probably the less 'normal' stuff would be anything to do with Japan, I love watching Japanese movies and drama's as well as anime (an acquired taste granted!) and I am currently learning the language too :)
Errr...well it says I should put down what am I looking for? Well I don't think that is very useful.....if I could simply partition what would "make a great relationship" then it wouldn't be real nor fair as we are far more complex then a couple of lines on a dating site. Oh and I just bought my own place so if anyone is handy at DIY that's a bonus....though I am getting better at it...I think...
