You'll really like the weather if you enjoy hot & dry. I grew up in a town halfway between Tuscon & Phoenix but I moved to central AZ for work. Lotsa people like doing stuff outdoors like hiking, dirt biking, and all that extra daylight is suppose to be good for growing stuff. But honestly, it's brown here. Just dirt everywhere. Although, Tuscon itself has an anime convention in February & Phoenix has in even bigger one in September. Oh, and gambling. Like every little city has its own casino filled with old folks spending their retirement money. There's prolly lotsa other stuff too but I'm a shut in and don't get out a lot.

Pretty sure GGO is the third season. The second was ALfheim Online. I didn't like the second one as much, considering they basically made Asuna a useless damsel in distress. But I REALLY like Sinon, and I think this new season looks more promising.

Aw, I started watching Steins Gate, but never finished. People have encouraged me to cosplay one of the characters -- Shiina, I think? I saw a bit of Gurren Lagann, too, at a friend's house. I have seen a lot of anime, but I have only finished a few shows. Usually I abandon them after a couple episodes because I get bored or don't have the time to watch them.
