Ok let's just start by hoping this kinda stuff doesn't even happen in the first place. It looks cool in the movies, but I doubt it would have a such a nice ending in real life. :P

Well if any of my loved ones survived, I'd do my best to teach them everything I know about self-defense so they won't get slaughtered and I would stay with them all the time. Honestly in any apocalypse scenario, it's not the zombies or nuclear weapons that's most dangerous. It's the other people that you want to watch out for, they will do anything to live even killing others of their own kind. So your idea of palace and free stuff is very ambitious and optimistic, but you'd have to be one of the strongest in the world to have that. Or at least have somebody strong on your side. xD

Pfft all governments in this world are corrupt to the core. If I'm going to fight, it will never be for my country. Only to keep safe the small circle of people that I care about, nothing else.

Haha I ain't sad kiddo, guess I just miss the thrill of life I had when I was younger. Not sure how to explain it, everything has just become too repetitive and/or easy. Maybe that's why I plan to do random stupid things like paragliding, buying a motorcycle, or learn how to climb mountains.

Nothing special, just working for the living like anyone else. Also resisting the building up urge to set my neighbor's house on fire because of his drilling and hammer bashing sessions every 6 am....
