I need more friends who watch a lot of anime and like to do the same sort of stuff. My ideal offline meetup: A Dungeons and Dragons campaign played over the course of a backpacking trip. I'm more than willing to carry a few pounds more on my back to accomodate manga and gaming dice.
I work at a bar. I'm a bouncer. I get hit on every night by drunk college girls who don't even know what anime is. Oddly enough, half the bouncers are obsessed with either anime or old Japanese live action series like Kamen Rider or Garo. We all have the same attitude toward women there. If they aren't into the same sort of stuff we are, we'd rather not get involved, even though sleeping with fifty of them every month would be easier than screwing in a lightbulb. Anyway, there's no one around here I would want to date, so I'm giving this a shot.

I'm moving from Ohio to Washington DC pretty soon. I'm going to live in the city itself for once, so I might grow some plants in my apartment... Special plants... Weed is legal in DC. I will probably continue being a bouncer when I get there, and maybe move up to bartending. I will also be getting a job as a bike messenger. Dangerous jobs, but not many people are willing to do them, so they're easy jobs to get.
