Well I was humiliated today by this customer who kept mocking me and making fun of how bad I suck at writing on cakes by saying how he didn't want the letter to touch the f**king balloon icing decoration on top, and he kept making me redo every attempt for 30 minutes. It got so bad he told me to just straight up scrap all the icing off and reice the whole top of the cake. While I pathetically attempt that he starts taking pictures of the cake I failed at trying to make look nice again. He said that he has girls waiting on him, and I need to hurry too, because I might just have some girl waiting on me. Plus how I could never be a surgeon, because I suck so bad at it. He even called someone up talking about me to them and how bad I screw up. He noticed I started to understand what the convo was about and changed what language he was speaking. When he finally left he took the cake laughing while walking off. I couldn't blow up at him, because I need this job to survive. However I have never felt that stupid, miserable, and depressed ever from a single person's actions.

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 This was after everyone else left the bakery for me to close. This is why I hate closing by myself.

мαρℓє @mikan_kat I would of throw the fucking cake at him, that's being hella disrespectful!!! Writing on cakes is kind of hard so don't feel so bad about. People like that need to reflect.

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 Thank you and I agree. He needs to look in the mirror and change the way he acts towards everyone. I already get hate at my job for trying my best. Imagine if I did blow uo at him and told him off. I would be out of a job and no way to pay for my apartment for my family.

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 Worst part was when he told me to use my gloved finger to spread the icing without smearing the blue. I was panicking in my mind so I didn't question it. I just wanted him to take the cake and leave. I had icing all over my pants when he finally did leave.

PucaetGniliasEht @thesailingteacup Would your boss really have gotten mad at you though? I mean here's the thing. You need a lil sas. Especially if he's sassing you that much. I guess it depends on how your job view customer service, but if it's a mom and pop shop...I would have been like okay, well I tried three times and it's not good enough, so would you like it as is, or we can leave it here and you can pick it up in the morning when my boss gets back. You have TWO options. Don't give him a third of redoing that shit and him mocking you.... What a dick. And I know you want to make a good impression, but was your boss there? NO. So he isn't even going to know what you had to go through AND that customer is still probably going to leave a bad review because it wasn't done in helvetica new comic sans american typewriter perfect script.

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 My boss would've told me that I should have tried harder to learn how to ice cakes. Then maybe this wouldn't have happened. I seriously doubt my job would care. So I am not saying anything about what happened last night. Im sorry about I know there is alot I should have done, but I didn't. I was panicking and screwed up not getting the store manager.

SoCKs @epsilon_52 Just gotta use it as a motivator that you can be a better and more skilled person than him in general WHILE being a better person too.
