Looking for Player 2 (and beyond).
I've been in the otaku trenches longer than some people have been alive, which means the NM and AZ convention circuits are basically a second home at this point. Yes, I am a dubs-over-subs loyalist (though I will slum it in Japanese if I have to see how a series plays out).
My tastes span the decades. The foundational brain rot is built on Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, 08th MS Team, Lupin III, Outlaw Star, and classic Ghibli (Nausicaä, Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky). Paired up with later favorites like Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Arietty, and Ponyo, plus more recent obsessions like Witch Hat Atelier, Slime Isekai, and Sword Art Online (season 1 and 2 only, thank you very much). I love manga too, even if sitting down to read it feels like a battle these days.
Outside of screen time, I’m a trans/nonbinary masculine goblin, furry, Cancer sun, switch, culinary omnivore, hopeless shopaholic, J-fashion enthusiast, designer, model, reenactor, and a creator whose real passion in the cosplay trenches is building props.
Queer, relationship-anarchist, non-monogamous, and deeply invested in subculture spaces. I like my people like I like my stories: complex, a little weird, and refusing to follow the standard script.
