why would they stop you from buying a ticket? that seems so wrong. its more money for the school/for paying for prom expenses... they should know that. could you have went with a group of friends maybe? i'm sorry to hear that you couldn't get a date. just remember, there is a whole world beyond High School let alone prom. so, don't let it get you down. when i went to prom i just went with a small group of friends... so, a date wasn't mandatory at all... although if you bought 2 tickets at once you got $5 off.
