Not entirely how to respond to a comment on a post but i figure this functions the same way favorites are Toradora! and Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka?. Clannad is pretty amazing as well as Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is amazing maybe for a different reason than romance though.

Finished season 1 of SDS, onto the mini season.
Felt the villains were a bit lacking, bur the protagonists personalities more than made up for that. Also, top notch animation and fight scenes.

Gowther and Guila came out of nowhere. They are both oddballs though, so they are perfect for each other.

Onizuka @averageboss First, a couple episodes into season the latest season and I take back what I said about Gowther.
Ban and Elaine is very lovely, but so sad :( .

I always feel quite odd to know i'm a guy and enjoy romance anime. At least of the guys that watch anime I know. Feels odd to actually enjoy a romance when everyone around is like screaming "ONE PUNCH"
Onizuka @averageboss Nothing wrong with liking romance animes (or romance anything really) as a guy. I mean I like romance stuff, and OPM. I think lots of people would actually like stuff that they will unfortunately never try simply because of expected societal norms.
