I'm Sydney, I'm 20 and I live in Colorado. The first anime aside from Pokemon and Digimon was Bleach. To this day, Bleach holds a special place in my heart.

Intro: My name is Sydney, I'm a 21 female, 5'1" INFJ and an Aries. I have green eyes and dyed red hair. I'm a student currently studying abroad in Kyoto Japan until August 2018. I'll be going back to my school in Colorado in August to finish my bachelor's in Japanese language, literature and culture. Hobbies: Anime, manga, games (mostly Nintendo), listening to music. Music: I listen to mostly J-rock, anime openings, post-hardcore and pop punk. My favorite bands/artists are The Devil Wears Prada, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Kenshi Yonezu, A Day to Remember, Man Overboard and Blink-182 (just to name a few). I really love anime. It's something that has pulled me out of dark spots and one of my favorite things. I collect anime figures with a quickly growing collection. My favorite shows are Boku no Hero Academia, Fairy Tail, One Piece, Bleach and Fruits Basket. I usually watch shounen and seinen anime, with the occasional shoujo romance anime. As far as manga goes, I usually read the mushy cliche romance mangas since i feel they read easier than shounen manga. Besides anime, I am also a huge pokemon freak, anime and games (I also collect the cards but can't play the game). My favorite Pokemon are Vulpix, Ninetales, Zoroark, and Midnight Lycanroc. My favorite games are MarioKart Double Dash, Pokemon Platinum, Danganronpa 2 and Donkey Kong Country 2. little more on me: I love all animals. I had 2 pet mice before going to Japan and I eventually want a ferret. I have extreme anxiety and do struggle with depression but I try to not let it get in the way of my daily life. When I become stressed, focused, or bored I pick at my bottom lip until it bleeds and hurts. It's something I've dealt with since I was very young and tried many times to quit for years but it's still a problem. I have 2 tattoos, one on my leg (Haku from Spirited Away) and one behind my ear (Aries symbol). I do have plans to get more in the future, but not exactly sure when. What I am looking for: I'm looking for friends with similar interests as well as a potential serious relationship if I meet the right person. I'd prefer someone within 5 or 6 years of my age, but if I meet the right person it doesn't matter. Non-smoker is also very important to me since I have a weak heart and can't stand the smell of cigarettes. I might not reply quickly since I'm currently living in Japan and I'm constantly busy with school and work when I return to the US, but I'll try my very best.
