Escaflowne was actually the first complete Anime series I saw, and I was absolutely blown away and knew I needed to find out more about Anime :). It was old even when I saw it though, unfortunately I didn't get into Anime until my very late teens. Lovely Complex was a very nice, light-hearted romance series, and I enjoyed it. I don't think I watched quite all of it, but I think I saw a good part of the Anime. I'd only vaguely heard of "Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai"; having just looked it up and read a brief plot description, it sounds interesting, I'll try to check it out sometime soon. I realy enjoyed SAO [partly because I enjoyed .Hack//Sign, which it is extremely heavily based on], and while I am enjoying the SAO 2 [GGO], I agree it isn't as good as the first season. FYI "Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei" is the Japanese name for "The Irregular at Magic High", you may have an easier time looking it up that way. I'm not sure it it was ever licensed and dubbed stateside. It takes a couple of episodes to get a decent feel for what's going on, and things continue to be revealed as the series progresses [with some great moments later on]. I found it very enjoyable and well-done, particularly the plot and story, although there's some good action scenes as well. So you mentioned you love all sorts of books; by any chance have you read "Ender's Game" or "The Martian"? [the latter of which I'm currently reading, and it's GREAT] On a side note, I tried messaging you again and for whatever reason it doesn't seem to be going though [I've never had that problem on this site before]. With that in mind, would you be willing to chat via kik messenger? Or even just regular texting, if you'd prefer.
