mariahaise @mariahaise Thankfully, it didn't happen around here, although some white members of this site called me out for doing whiteface they accepted in the end it's just different in my culture. I just had an awful discussion with some black people who laughed at my face because they think their suppression and personal experience in the US also applies to me because my skin is dark (they think I'm also black) and I've never really suffered any kind of racism, or it was so irrelevant it didn't have much of a consequence where I live. They also misinterpret Asians getting surgery or lightening up their skin as a consequence of only white colonialism as if they knew Asians and their culture or history. They are judgmental and ignorant who also call up on any other race doing makeup like the Koreans do telling them they're yellowfacing. I got tired of it and personally it's lowered down a lot my perspective towards most social aspects of the USA that I'd rather not deal with them ever, this is just one of them. To us, these views, are exactly the same they whine about coming from white people, it's just racist. BUT EVEN SO I DO NOT WANT TO IMPOSE THE FACT WE DON'T CARE ABOUT IT TOWARDS ANYBODY, WHY WOULD THEY TRY AND TELL US WE'RE WRONG BECAUSE OUR CULTURE IS DIFFERENT. It's intolerant as well.
