Hello! ^^ I'm not sure where to start here, but I'll do my best to describe myself! For one, I love cats~ I have two, and they are very adorable.
I have long since fallen in love with otaku culture, as well as many aspects of Japanese culture as a whole.
I love anime~ I'll watch just about anything, but my favorites are usually placed in the Slice-of-Life, Drama, Romance, Adventure, and Fantasy genres. These favorites include Clannad, Azumanga Daioh, Spice and Wolf, Mushishi, Angel Beats, Lucky Star, Kanon, Nichijou, and many, many others! I also enjoy reading manga, light novels, and visual novels, but anime is definitely at the top.
I love video games, too! And again, I'll like just about anything good! I currently own a Wii, a Ps3, a 3DS, many older consoles, and I play a few PC games. I'm a big fan of Zelda, Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, Ace Combat, Kirby, Mario, Smash Bros, Diablo, Elder Scrolls, Harvest Moon/Rune Factory, Ninja Gaiden, most fighting games, artsy/experimental games, and others. If you ever feel like playing, we can exchange PSN/Steam/friend codes ^^
My music interests are fairly broad and often have no connection to my anime interests whatsoever, so I will just talk about the more relevant stuff. To sum up the majority of it...VOCALOID! I am definitely a fan of Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, and the others (but mostly those two). I really love the whole concept of virtual singers whose songs are composed and made popular by the fans alone. Truly a community-driven fanbase! And of course, they are immune to stardom corruption or negative influence from mass media. Anyway, Miku, Luka, and the others have some great songs! Honestly, I have too many favorites to list. As far as other music I like, any opening/ending usually becomes an instant favorite, and I'm definitely open to listening to any trance, techno, j-pop, k-pop, j-rock, that's not too autotune-y /rap-like.
