To take on the journey of chess:
1. u should definitely register on chess.com!
it provides many puzzles, lessons and u can learn by playing with others
2. buy or torrent Chessmaster Grandmaster edition! It has all the lessons to take you from beginner to advanced level player, it is given by my ex favourite ex grandmaster josh waitzkin.. he is brilliant and the psychological implications from his lessons are even more amazing! It even gives few lessons on attacking chess if u like that..
3. link for beginner to intermediate level lessons: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSA9se6t82I&list=PLQsLDm9Rq9bHKEBnElquF8GuWkI1EJ8Zp
