Definitely. Not every magical girl anime follows the generic, cutesy formula. Madoka is really good at that too, being a magical girl show that's quite dark and deep.

Yeah, that is true. I think some guys may be turned off from watching Princess Tutu due to its name, which sounds a lot more "girly" than the show actually is.

I'm a bit skeptical of a new Kenshin. I already can't believe there were two English dub versions of the original series.... I'm pretty satisfied with the story wrapping up in the OVA. I was disappointed when the series dragged after the Shishio arc, so I'm not sure what this series will entail.
