My name is Clay. At my best I am intelligent, perceptive, empathetic, and loyal. At other times I can be anxious or a total smart ass. I perceive the world in grays, try not to step on toes and make sure I'm there for my friends no matter what.
All of California's been my backyard; I've lived in every part you can think of, visited all the western states, and will travel overseas for vacation and educational visits in the next few years. I've nearly drowned in the desert (literally and figuratively), explored urban jungles, and been lost in the woods more times than I can remember. Recently I've been to the AX convention in LA, San Francisco Nihon Machi Sakura Festival, Partying In Monterrey, The Grand Canyon, and Bonanza Creek Ranch on the set of A Million Ways to Die In The West (this was coincidental).
When in between journeys or rooted in one spot (I am a student after all) my mind does the adventuring. I read with a voracity unmatched; Patrick Rothfuss can't write books fast enough. Gaming is fun but only for so long. Theater-going is a particular favorite. The atmosphere and the chance to sit with people I enjoy is enough to have fun attending nearly anything. Cooking, with others especially, is also pretty dang fun. Sometimes in my spare time I design board games though I couldn't say wether I'm any good at it. I want to learn an instrument but so far I'm too busy. Most significantly: I am very nerdy(?) and have an abundance of such interests and hobbies.
Currently I am finishing the general Ed requirements at college before I start working towards a more specific major( either international studies or something to do with english).
