Hiya! My name's Chris. I'm originally from Texas, but my job required me to move to Missouri this year so I'm new to the state. I'll be starting on my Aerospace Engineering degree this coming year once I get settled.
I grew up in Arlington watching Toonami and Adult Swim with my younger sister, cousins, and a few friends so I'm not really too versed in today's anime. More of a fan of the classics like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Case Closed, Tenchi Muyo, Wolf's Rain etc. Anything off of the old Adult Swim, or Toonami lineup really lol. Definitely not the biggest otaku, but that's not to say we can't find something in common. =)
Had big aspirations to become a video game designer ever since I was young, but it never seemed to come to fruition. I guess I just seemed to think I lost my creative edge at some point.
I've been a HUGE Final Fantasy fan (and just a big video game nerd in general lol) ever since my cousin turned me onto it back in the 5th or 6th grade. I can never seem to get enough of the series. My favorite games of the series being 4 and 8. Looking to go to the next Distant World's concert in Chicago this coming year hopefully.
I've yet to have a chance to go to any conventions, but I've always wanted to, and I'm actually currently working on a Squall from FFVIII cosplay for sometime next year.
Overall I'm a pretty relaxed guy, but can be serious when the situation calls for it. Other than that there's really not much else to say without telling you my life's story or revealing too much. I'm really just here to meet some new people, and possibly something more! Oh yeah, and if you're on my friends list feel free to text me any time. =)
