Konnichiwa fellow anime fans and gamers (if you don't like at least one of them then expect to be added to my Death Note).
I'm an anime fan, the type who likes slice-of-life stuff like Toradora! and Clannad (or basically any Key novels - I have the soundtracks for them all on my phone) but enjoys pretty much everything from Future Diary to B Gata H Kei, Eden of the East to Baka and Test (the funniest anime ever), and am right now watching Masamune-kun no Revenge. Why do I love it? Because they have great stories, characters you want to hang out with, and is a reflection of the lives we lead in worlds we want to be in. I've never tried cosplaying but it's something I want to do, and the only person I've watched anime with is my brother but I'd love to relax and watch a show with a fellow anime fan.
As for gaming it's hard to believe but I'm mad about the stuff and besides my PC (with Steam Link) own PS4 (plus PSVR and PSTV), PS3, Wii, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, Nvidia Shield Console, PSP, PS Vita, and 3DS. Plus I like to play some games on my mobile. I love most type of games but am particularly crazy about Kingdom Hearts, so much so I attended a concert last month and met composer Yoko Shimomura (and last year attended a Pokemon Concert - I love videogame music!). I'm just waiting for Kingdom Hearts III to be released and joy will enter my heart once more (plus Final Fantasy VII remake - the original is one of the greatest games ever made).
My name is not Tomoya Okazaki (points if you know where it's from) but I consider him my kindred spirit in the anime world, and as for what I do for a living I have a day job in finance but love to write scripts and after 2 years of saving directed my first feature film earlier this year! My hope is with this film that I can focus on screenwriting for a living and direct more movies because there is nothing more beautiful than to follow your dreams and soar in the sky. And movies are my life (as are great TV shows - although my favourite series happens to be 24).
