Good news, I woke up early today and had a really clear morning. I was able to accomplish a lot on the project. It gets me pumped for the rest of the week. I also found out, I have to buy some textbooks T.T. Do you guys not put up lights and decorations? I'm currently living downtown, so there are lots of parks w/ decorations and lights at night. It's one of the things I enjoy about Christmas time. Btw, do you know how to ski or snowboard?

Hmm okay. Well today I had my first classes back since the new term started. It seems like it'll be easy so far. Again I'm still struggling a bit w/ my senior design project, which is probably why i'm up so late. It was nice to see everyone back from their Thanksgiving break though. You can start to feel that Christmas is in the air as well. Still waiting for that big snow fall. Does your town look pretty festive atm?

What is Fragments? Also, my bad ,the whole time difference thing. I had to get some sleep. Oh one question though. I've kind of noticed this, but do you guys use dryers? It seems to mainly only be common in the USA and Canada.

Somewhat. I am dreading working on my senior design project most of all. Because I seem to be the most inept in the group and don't want to pull the team down. Other than that, I'm excited to start new classes. Plus I will have a lighter load, so more free time. Is college/university free over there?

How's classes going? I'm spending the last weekend I have until school is back in session. How does it feel being surrounded by guys all day? I assume you don't have many female compadres in your field of study, same as over here.

It was a pleasure meeting a fellow STEM associate, particularly of the female gender. Even at my school there are only 20% girls in STEM. You're one of the few revolutionary women out there. Anyhow, good night. Talk to you another time.

The languages may be impressive but they're quite similar except Java and the C's and assembly. As long as you learn one language, it's "basically" the same with the others except for a few new rules and syntaxes. This is a year long project, so I won't be done until I graduate in Spring. The company sponsoring the project has already spent like 80,000 on the cameras and cables and I guess that's cheap? That stuff sounds interesting. So i guess you already have the basics down. Is this really necessary for IT or is it an elective?

I am working on a camera system that takes video and pictures of items being processed on on a processing line (like putting together a car or computer). It makes sure that the parts are being put together correctly and if there are mistakes, you can review what the problem is and correct the mistake. A personal project I've been meaning to start is to find some datast from www.kaggle.com and analyze it. I'd refine it to find patterns and relations. For example, I could use data from Wal-Mart to find out what is the most popular shoe brand there and when is the right time to sell it. Languages: - Java, python, c, c++, c#, javascript, some assembly language, ... that's all I remember I like Java and c++. Generally some languages are better for certain things. Javascript is good for websites and front end, while c# and c++ are better for back end functions. What kind of assignments do you guys get to do? Make apps?

Nice! I am not doing programming on Android, I opted out for another elective "Intro to Datascience". But I'm always programming in my courses since I'm a Software Engineering Major. I should actually put some time into my senior design project later tonight. How's programming in Android, what language and IDE do you use?
