Yes, originally it's a visual novel, and then they adapted it into an anime as well. The anime is really short though. XD

I love it, and I think it is pretty popular among girls at least... well it's a BL game... So that is a good reason why. XD But, actually, the story itself is very good. If you like sci-fi stories that involve virtual reality, street gangs, and corrupt politicians and stuff like that, you may like it. It's a bit like Durarara meets No. 6. It's really long and immersive. The beginning of the game takes a really long time to introduce everyone/everything though, so it does need patience. Then near the end of a guy's route, it does have uhh, adult scenes. >.> The anime was super rushed, but better for if you're impatient or just wanna see it animated, or don't want to see the sex scenes(they cut them out completely, so the only romance is a greeting kiss and some hugs). XD

Haha, it's pretty normal to say things like that with my friends too. Actually, all of them are either LGBT, or love LGBT lol. The cosplay is supposed to be Clear from Dramatical Murder, which I thought would be good for Yaoicon at least. XD And I wonder if maybe I saw you even more times, from Fanime too. :o I think I went in 2008 and 2011, according to these con tag thingies I kept.
