Nirvana to me is not "heaven". It is ceasing to exist. Enlightenment is a state of being, that's not a higher power. There are no higher powers in Zen. In other schools, yes, but not Zen.

How much you said about Buddhism is wrong on so many levels. I take the literal definition of atheism - Greek meaning is "no god". Buddhism does not require you to believe in a god. Whether or not I believe in reincarnation or the other natural laws on Buddhism does not change how I am.
I did not start a fight - I provided an opinion. If said opinion provokes - that is not my problem or business. I'm not a petulant child, and I despise the US, not hate it. It BETRAYED and DECEIVED me. I have every right to hate the US, but choose not to hate it. I sometimes slip the tongue, but I don't hate it. I despise it, and have rejected it as my identity. China is a better country for me, and people tangentalized the discussion.
You may not think of me as an intellectual, but I am recognized as one by many people who know me. In the end, you're no different from the people who stabbed me in the back for so many years - you're providing so much defense. I have learned much in my short time on this Earth.
Farewell. I have said what I feel obligated to say. Don't step into this anymore.

Really? That's interesting haha.
I have played Star Wars: Knights of the old republic which bioware made and I LOVED that game. It's a shame they never made a 3rd installment in the series. Would have been very fun if they added a survival mode to the second game too though admittedly it would have seemed out of place. What other good games have they made? I also enjoyed playing Infamous very much though the actual effects of the decisions you made in that game may have been more slight and illusionary really when it came to affecting much in the game but it was still very fun.
Well if we set aside manga then I would say Science Fiction and Fantasy genre would be my favorites. You?

YOU READ WHAT I POSTED ON HER PROFILE!?!?! My privacy feels so....VIOLATED!!! Jk lol. I suppose I did send her something of a somewhat notable length xD
I'm nearsighted, and it's to the extent that I can walk around perfectly fine without my glasses but if I'm not wearing them I can't seem to make out the finer details of things or read words unless they're in large print, even if it's as close as having my laptop on my lap, without squinting to see them. So I guess that's very near sighted? Very true, luckily I haven't had another one of those moments since haha. Though I have many times placed them down, did something and then seconds later forgot where I put them but that's a completely different matter that can happen to anybody haha.
What you say might very well have some truth too it...I know what you mean. I have, many times, read a book, be it novel, manga, etc. and the characters have their own voices and I start to see the scenes described in the book in my mind as I'm reading.

Yeah it's anything that has a main protagonist that is younger than 20 or at least starts the series as being under 20.
Here's an example of the stuff I read from the website I use alot: http://bookoutlet.com/Store/Browse/young-adult-fiction/_/N-3597/Ne-349
Not all of them but just to give you an idea of what I usually go for (:
Hmm classics as in Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, Brothers Grimm, Fairy Tales, stuff that schools teach & make you read I guess xD
You might have but didn't realize it. I had no idea what it was until I started reading Jane Green's stuff & actually enjoyed it so I looked up the genre to find something similar to hers & lo & behold got introduced to the Chick lit genre!
WW2 has some interesting poetry & everything in general. One of my favorite wars to study. Took a class on it in high school & everything. I'm just a lover of words in general so I think thats why I enjoy poetry so much. It just connects to me. Also my all-time favorite author writes her books in poetry form.
Exactly xD It's the greatest thing ever! I can't wait to not only work in a library but also build my library in my future home which is just four walls lined with bookshelves! It'd be perfect!
