Morning and welcome! I just joined the other day as well and it is pretty cool so far. Tokyo Ghoul is great. God Eater is also pretty decent. I am into most everything so I can't give you my favorite but just ask and I can suggest something for your current mood or just give you a list to try out.

I started watching Dragon Ball on days that I would skip school but never watched anything more. I started to get big into while I was serving on Okinawa. After two years there I became an addict and haven't looked back. Though a very large portion of family and friends don't understand it and I am now the outcast of most circles, I will never give up my love for anime.
