Well I'm not necessarily an Otaku. I love anime, I read manga, and I enjoy anything regarding Japan. Someday I'd like to visit there and stay and absorb the culture. I'd like to cosplay and go to anime conventions but I very much lack any friends who are into anime/manga. I like to draw, write. You can follow me on Pinterest by looking for Hadrian Zemenst. My favorite anime would have to be Code Geass, but I like several other anime and manga so just ask. Also don't judge me too harshly on not seeing a lot of lesser known anime/manga or that I'm too "mainstream."
My book is called Volynsaga, it's a story about a boy named Azarel whom after a horrible past meets up with a family he was ordered to kill but instead saves them. This kind heartedness causes massive disruption in the land in which they live and a sudden coup detat causes the nation to crumble and the royal family purged, all but one, a little girl whom Azarel saved prior and now assists in her reclaiming the kingdom from a tyrant.
I often draw in an anime-style form and I use photoshop and paint tool sai, if anyone is curious to see my work just ask. :) It's a good conversation piece too, in case you have trouble asking questions or talking...
