Hi. I have no idea how this site even works. I just remembered it from a loooong time ago thanks to a friend of mine crapposting late at night. A+ though, I'd like to try at least talking with other people at some point.

Why am I single? Mainly because I haven't bettered myself to a level I feel comfortable bringing to people. Depression and anxiety has worn down on me for years, and I've become a grumpy old hermit that only goes out to conventions to see friends. Last relationship I was in, she said we should take a break from each other, and I agreed. I'm still not in a good place mentally, I feel, for dating. I think I'd drag the other person down?
