About mid morning today, March 27, a flurry of snow (with a light mix of thunder) descended from the skies, blanketing the town in white, and making the tress glisten. Normal temperatures for this late in March hover around 50°F.

Several hundred students came to the Muscatine Mall for this year's Science Fair, armed with weeks of research and often elaborate presentations. There were over 200 entries this year, although it seemed that including parents and other students the mall was, in an unusual situation, packed with 500 or more people.

Work recently began filling in the dozens of potholes of all sizes that have sprung up around town. Due to all the recent fluctuations in temperature, causing snow to turn to water then to ice, large potholes have sprung up on many well traveled roads across town.

With the recent crisis in the housing department, those lucky enough to be unaffected should take advantage of rates falling across the board. Lately interest rates for personal loans, auto loans, and mortgage loans have been sinking faster than a bombarded pirate ship.

A new Viral video has sprung up on the internet, featuring Senator Barack Obama with many famous names. Obama is not actually involved with the video, but it utilizes excerpts from some of his speeches, especially from after New Hampshire.
