I've got a few weird looks while at the grocery store playing it. Cursing at Pokemon while walking threw the parking lot didn't make me any friends either. But the Pidgey and the Caterpie got what was coming.

I cant wait to monday to be able to walk around at my wy work looking for pokemon, does pokemons appears on unmapped (google) area?

You need to be able to have a GPS connection, but no roads or anything required.

So far I've only heard reports of Gen 1 Pokémon being found. I swear I saw a Stunfisk in one of the pre-release snapshots. Gen 1's great and all but so is every other Generation. Surely they'll let us catch post-Gen1 Pokémon as well later!

It would make sense to have them region locked in the full release though. Either that or they are doing time-locked events to release the next generations.

They're planning on having all generations, eventually. The game it's self, will change a bit too. The more people who play, the more influence in how it's played they will have and it's already growing pretty fast. I mean, Nintendo stock went up 5% within two days of the initial release.

For starters I saw someone playing Pokemon go today LOL. I could tell they were playing it because I could hear the music since they jacked the sound up on their phone pretty high. Also you can tell just how many Pokemon are available by looking at the Pokedex. I think they only have 120 currently. It might have been 220 but I think it was 120.
