What game are you currently playing?

As much shit as I threw at Dark Souls 2 - one of my good friends urged me to give it another go and listening to her advice to put a butt load of points into adaptability for decent rolling i-frames, I've actually been having a ton of fun with it which is great since it is a game I've wanted to love. It especially helps that I'm rocking a fully upgraded ultra greatsword, good armor and fast rolls so I can take on a lot of different situations effectively because wiping out large groups with a single swing or killing a boss in less than 10 is incredibly satisfying to me. I still have an awful lot of beef with it though, like how Forest of the Fallen Giants is perhaps the worst first level in any game I've ever played or how boring the vast majority of enemies are since most of them are just dudes in armour with swords and shields - compare that to stuff like the Gaping Dragon, Quelaag, Sif, Nito or Kalameet from the first game which are infinitely more interesting. Well I guess there is Duke's Dear Freja and Sinh, The Slumbering Dragon is a really cool boss too - same goes for The Rotten which is so far my favourite boss in the base game. But yeah, Dark Souls 2 - it's pretty legit now that I have good i-frames!

Reviving this thread after nearly a month 'cause I'm an arse like that. I'm jumping between different games at the moment - playing bits of Doom 2016, classic Doom and Distance. I'm also replaying the original Dead Space for the 50 millionth time because it's bloody excellent - I felt like playing it again after finishing my new game+ on The Evil Within which is a criminally underrated game imo. I'm also going to start my new game+ on Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin really soon since I've seen how very different it is compared to NG+ on all the other Souls games and that will be really fun since I power stance smelter swords - like seriously, it's ludicrously fun and powerful. I'm also playing bits of Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon (I would love to get 4.1 but I'm poor fag to the max right now ;-;), Resident Evil 6: The Mercenaries as well as plenty of Section 8: Prejudice which is a woefully underrated multiplayer FPS. So yeah, I like my games a lot.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Omg that game became fun again. I even had a dream I was playing as Snake before I started playing it again for the first time in like over a year.
