Any real dating sites that have success?

Lucky people. I'm trying more than one month from now on some dating sites and... guess what. I had moments that day by day I send some messages to people. Big. Zero. Answers. I guess this doesn't work.

Honestly dating sites are a hit and miss in general. I have a friend who used one for years and barely had any likes on his profile, he met his current girlfriend on Tinder out of nowhere (this is his first like legit GF)... Meanwhile I'm on the site for 2+ years with almost 100+ likes and barely get any people responding. I honestly wonder if it's how you put yourself out there. I try to be nice and say stuff like Hey how's it going? I saw that we both like blah and start a conversation... Another thing is that girls from what I see are really picky about guys, and since a dating profile is just a bunch of words and pictures they will probably judge you on looks first and then profile second. So if you're not the hottest guy on there you're not going to have a lot of luck snagging somebody on the line. Anyway in my experience the only two sites that actually got me a girl were Okcupid & POF, but like I said it's a hit or miss, you can send a million and one messages and not get any responses... Then sometimes you send one message to one particular girl and you hit it off. It's RNG at it's finest.

Not really a dating site, but I suggest meetup.com since you'll find people in your area that bond over a common interest. Look for groups that have active members and events and attend. You'll put yourself out there and I'm sure a lucky lady will eventually appear. Worse case is you attend a church or ask your friends to introduce you to a single lady if you're feeling desperate? Best of luck.

It's all a numbers game man, pray to the RNG gods that they'll be nice LOL. I think the best way to meet people with common interests, especially with like video games/manga/anime, is probably conventions, but those don't happen as often as anyone would like lol. I mean if you are still in college/highschool, go hit up the anime clubs. Chances are, you'll meet some people there. Hopefully.
