The Kimono, Would you wear it?

animecountryboy
Normally i wear boots, jeans, T-shirt/tank, with a long sleeve button up over it is the cooler months. So basically a layered look, so kimono is drastically different than my normal.

I sometimes where mine from my cosplay around the house. Its very well made and quite heavy and warm. Not to mention very comfortable.

Used to be my "go to" day off attire, till my band mates gave me an intervention...supposedly they thought it wasn't metal...and my bullet belts and chains clashed...yay peer pressure...anyway i should put a photo of that up on my profile...hehehe

I bought a traditional Hakima Style Kimono (Under Samurai Armor clothing) it is plain navy blue fairly heavy but it looks good for casual style. I want to by a More lavish one but I needed this for Under my Kendo Armor and it still functions as a great Kimono..

I would wear the absolute SHIT of a kimono!!! They're so elegant and beautiful I would feel like a beautiful geisha!! My only concern is that I'm really short so I might end up wearing a child size one. D:

For a special occasion sure, but I don't really see much point in it as an everday thing. :p

Theyre actually really comfy you know, plus the hakama gives great freedom down there as well!

I really enjoy the heavier kimonos. Rather Geisha style, lots of layering. i love layers. :) Although the yukata is super fun, my first real nihon outfit was a replica of Kikyo from Inuyasha.
