As an old Cleveland Browns fan.. then and now. I'll throw my take on it. San Diego is a great town, I've been there once or twice in my travels and it has a lot of other stuff going for it. So not to worry eventually a team will come back to it. However I'd sue for the name/colors rights to stay in San Diego so they can remain special to the city as the folks in Cleveland did. Making Baltimore rename that team the Ravens. If SD truly cares for and comes out to support a team I'm sure they'll get one back either by move or expansion. - I was going to have an uncle-rico moment where i was going to tell as story about 1995 and the move but just go watch the documentary Browns '95 or the ESPN 30 for 30 on the move. It's VERY enlightening when you see the heads of many franchises (including Alabama's Nick Saban) start as coaches for the Browns back then.
