Your thoughts about trump winning the presidency

IMO i'm really uncertain at how this will turn out with a trump leadership. He has some points that i agree with just like Hillary does but i'm really not sold on him. I'm all for giving people chances, He won the vote of the country so he's earned it. I mean that's kind of how a vote works. What i highly dislike about this though is the violent protesting that is taking place. Setting your towns on fire, attacking police officers just DOING THEIR JOB. Is the worst example one could set if you're claiming love not hate. I understand the anger and frustration. Everybody has been down that path before or will at some point in their life but their are other ways to approach it than spreading more hatred through violence. I leaned towards hillary over trump and i am annoyed he is our new president but maybe democrats need to look at all angles. Trump was beatable...very beatable but he played the right cards and read the emotions of the crowd. He made people believe the system was against them and the promise of jobs. I have personally in my life seen so many well (very well) paying jobs stripped from people so the company could move out of country to pay less in wages and still benefit from being an american company. Example would be our steel mills. But i have watched many families drop into poverty because steelworks was all they had known their whole life. You promise jobs and ofc people are going to vote for you. Our hope though was bernie. Every1 rallied behind bernie and even republicans liked bernie..but hated hillary. Look at all angles and see the rigged system the democrat elite were. Instead of bernie we got dealt Hillary. They helped put the nail in the coffin. I saw something about sore winner/loser also. Granted there are bad people in the world but the media is kind've trying to label white males as uneducated, racist, sexist, etc. That is something being thrown at us from left and right. Even though i was with Hillary i still even feel like i'm being lumped in this basket just because i'm a white male. When labels like that and the protesting going the way it has then i wouldn't really call the trumpers being sore winners but also just trying to retaliate against the backlash they are recieving. I did just want to add in. On most polls 76% of america said the country was headed into the wrong direction. Hillary was the prodige or successor if you will to the one who led us for 8 years. There's really no telling where we go from here unless you're a time traveler. Trump may do well or he may fall as the worst president in history. Bernie's supporters said "Bernie or bust" and the democratic elite didn't listen. This is what we got.

this is a really heated topic by the looks of it. i personally dont like the fact he is gonna be our next president (i mean its not like i can change that) but for how many people that were against him being prez, no one did anything to stop it. instead we put the next 4 years of our life on the line by letting the old people (who may or may not be on the verge of death) pick for us. he runs us into debt, he starts a war that we might lose, he turns the us into a divided county where riots break out. so be it. he could be a good president for all we know..we just gotta see. but i reeally didnt want any of these guys for president. i would have really like to see bernie up there.

i didnt like hillary...in her race it was all about slandering trump and giving us reasons why he shouldnt be president. her advertisements were about trump doing this, trump doing that. it wasnt really aimed at what she was offering to better the country. idk how it would have went down if bernie took her place though. well how much damage can you do in 4 years right? hopefully no one votes this guy back in if he does mess things up though

I read up about what Trump intends to do in his first 100 days in office. Very isolationist actions. I think our stocks are going to continue to drop. I do like how he is going to do things that clean up Washington, but I fear for the environmental consequences. It always scared me that Trump doesn't believe in global warming.

Not to mention all the BS propaganda about tapping Oklahoma politicians (arguably the dumbest right wingers) for cabinet positions. Senator Inhofe for Environmental Protection? The man who rolled a snow ball in a rare OK snow storm and took it into the capitol WHILE IN SESSION asking, "Does this look like global warming?" *facepalm*

I was trying to avoid joining the discussion, but I just wanted to point out something. Arc, the stock market dropping is nothing to be worried about, it does so every election season. It did when Obama took office, and Bush, and Clinton. It will stabilize itself like it always does.
