Do you think people here would treat you differently if you were the opposite sex?

burninghalo
IF how you spoke, your attitude, and your actions did not change but your gender did, how would that affect how others see and react to you?

oh boi, i feel this is more of a serious thread this >w> but ofcourse things would be different (my brother is probz my male version, appearance atleast) i think id be treated tougher, probz wouldnt have been a neet for so long, but i also think i wouldnt have my anxiety, as my sister and i have anxiety and depression issues but my brothers fine so id probz have a job/be in school and be anxiety free id also have, like, 15 side chicks >w> my dick would be chafed and blistered by the time i was done with it >w> id probz be alot closer to my brother and have a dislike for women (as my sisters a psycho and my mother can go off the handle aswell, my brother also sees women in a darker light, so id probz be with him there xD) but all in all im glad im a girl, for many reasons except babies no babbehs for me

Based on things I've observed and heard, I think it would increase my popularity both in the real world and internet world to be honest, but not always in a good way. Rather then being ignored in public, I'd probably actually get hit on one of these days, whether it's a creep or not. Rather then never seeing replies on dating sites, I would probably be swarmed with messages from creeps before I even sent one out, but maybe one would be good. If I created a profile on this site as a girl, rather then having an empty news feed for like a month, I probably would have had messages from guys before even introducing myself, simply because I appeared in new. I do genuinely think things would be different, but it's kind of a double edged sword. Less attention but more peace of mind, or more attention and less peace of mind. These are just things I've observed.

Richaadokun is right. Gender makes a huge difference. Pervy girl = hot Pervy guy = creep Shy girl = cute Shy guy = not confident enough Girl scared of storms = adorable Guy scared of storms = wuss There's an infinite number of double standards for men and women both. That includes roles, what's expected of them, and what's considered attractive. @Lamby That's not necessary true. It's true that you're life choices might be different. However anxiety and depression are affected by the chemical balance in your brain, and it affects men and women the same.

i feel like i would get some more attention but honestly just act the same

@wesley, i know, just going by family genes xD in my family women are more afflicted by it then the men also i have to agree with rich on this if i was a man id be a total creep and would have been pepper sprayed multiple times (but atleast people wouldnt think my perverted nature was for "attention" >w>....)
greenumbra
People would probably treat me differently, but I'd probably be a very different person too. For instance my perverted side would probably be more exposed
