Any chance that anyone is planing on trying to go the 2020 olympics? if so id like to try and meet up as id probably be attending by myself
I won't be attending but I will be watching on a screen. I'm excited about the opening ceremony, for which I have the highest expectations. I'm expecting to see an epic concert of numerous Vocaloid holograms somewhere in there. And I'm also hoping that Sonic the hedgehog will have some kind of involvement in relaying the Olympic torch. If they won't feature that then I will be very disappointed.
Ah, well i do know that for the Olympics that they plan it to be autonomous as possible. Like when you leave the airport and find a taxi they are planing for them to be self driven, and when you go to the hotel that you will check in with a humanoid robot at the front desk. Then the same thing when you get to the main arena where the opening ceremony will be and to help guide you to your seats there will be a glowing line that will show you where to go, and finally a artificial meteor shower above the arena. Cant wait to experience this
Providing I get into the university I'm hoping to, I should be there for the year I spend abroad.
Sweet! Feel free to add me and hmu when it gets closer to the event date
@akira92 That talk about robot staff may be exciting for someone like you, but it certainly doesn't sound like good news to a guy like me who went for a college diploma in hospitality and tourism. That sounds terrifying. I'd rather prefer that robots and holograms just stick to dancing and singing and performing on stages and not be taught to do anything else.
I'm planning on going with my best friend... Let's see if we can make it!!!
@blissfullforce1818 don't worry from what I read the robot desk is just for the extra experience. They will still have regular employees available to help out
@askukaangel feel free to add me too incase you'd like to have a meet when it gets closer
