Its hard to see that truth for most of us overpriveledged self entitled North Americans, but that in and of itself is the issue.

He has some points but I don't think he can say that all culture is bad. Because there is also culture to express yourself with alternative music, dance, etc. They are free to do it the way they want it.

Culture is just a social version of evolution. Some evolve faster and better then others based on factors like environment and peoples actions. We can influence the world around us but calling culture basically your enemy is foolish. What we believe as poverty is almost extreme wealth in other parts of the world. We are able to fight on silly issues because of this which info realty would be of zero concern in the grand scheme of things. I dont believe the wealthy should be punished for working hard to make something of themselves. I do believe that the more we try to help everyone the more then general quality of life goes down. We will never be able to fix all people because they need to put that effort in themselves. We can't fix another nations problems by throwing money at it. Some nations will always crumble and they should. It's all Just a different form of evolution.
