I can't really think of much. I read stories and friends tell me of some of the more extravagant things their current or past significant others have bought or got for them on birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, valentine's day, etc. Things like video game consoles and other electronics, tools, gift cards, etc. Things that would amount to several hundreds of dollars or maybe more. In all honesty, I can't say I don't get a bit jealous when I hear those kinds of stories because even in the relationships I've had in the past, the gift exchanges we did have never amounted to much outside of maybe some flowers, a plushie, etc. But at the end of the day, that's fine to me. It really came down to a matter of money and I don't need to buy nor receive anything really extravagant or significant to have a healthy relationship or someone to prove they care for me. I guess to me it would come down to someone wanting to spend their free time with me, going out of their way to take care of me when I'm sick or feel like crap, or be the one to initiate any sort of PDA like a kiss, holding hands, etc. Mainly for the fact most of my relationships have been with someone who never very often initiated those simpler kinds of things. I was always the one who had to go out of my way or make the effort to do them.

The quickest way to something that probably doesn't exist? Is that like one of those, if a tree falls in the woods and no one's around to hear it questions?
anigamer1999
Non Serious answer: A screwdriver through my chest. Serious answer: Through my stomach (metaphorically).

@veru, yeah I didn't mind doing so. I usually was the one who even had to initiate something as simple as holding hands and what not. Not to say they NEVER were the ones, but I'd definitely say it 80/20 a lot of the time where I was the one making the effort, at least when it came to stuff like PDAs.
