Sleeping pills

animekid
Does anybody know if there could be any issues with taking sleeping pills nightly? I mean over a long period of time like weeks. Is there any possibility of addiction or anything like that?

Na an addiction is very rare With sleeping pills and if you have the pills from a random Medic store then you should not worry. The Chances for nightmares are just nearly Doubled and some sleep paralyst is possible. What pills do you use? I have some experiences, maybe want to hear an advise

It's very rare that I have nightmares. I haven't actually started using sleeping pills yet so I'm not sure about what kind but I don't think I'm going to be too picky. I just don't like having the evening with my thoughts anymore. It's bad enough that if I could I'd like to fall asleep at 8 p.m. even though that's pretty sad.

I've always been a night owl but it's been worse lately but I don't even want to be a "regular" night owl anymore.

I take sleeping pills nightly and I always try not to because I feel like I became dependent on them but I lay for hours doing nothing and not being able to sleep but I end up sleeping / taking naps during the day

Dude, stop doing this to yourself "I just need something to make the excruciatingly painful nights go by faster.". Unless someone has died/is dieing/you're dieing, just stop it. Broken heart? Lonely? You're by far not the only to have experienced that and yes, it sucks. Been there, done that myself. You don't need pills or a doctor (Unless you have legit medical issues.), you need to stop dwelling on things. Start a journal, make youtube videos, write, play games, hang out with friends, make friends, talk with family, exercise, take classes, but above all, stop stressing out over things that more than likely aren't worth all the pain and heart ache. It sounds like to me, you really should talk to a friend or family member if you haven't already. Sometimes just venting is a HUGE help. I'm only chiming in because you've been moping around on here for weeks and just saying how bad things are or how you hurt. Again, some people on here may know exactly how you're feeling and where you're coming from, they may even be able to help.
