Heart Gold & Soul Silver

Let me see... I've already beaten HeartGold, I don't have a favorite type in particular (but I might have an affinity for Dark types) and I enjoyed seeing Ho-oh flying to Tin Tower and the time I beat Ash (Red) :) I also still have my original Silver and Crystal cartridges whict I also beat. But please don't bring up Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald because I'm still having trouble with them :(

My very first video game was Pokemon Crystal on the gameboy color. Pokemon is my childhood. I played SoulSilver and loved it. But when I look at it, I dunno, I think they killed the graphics. Or maybe its just me. But something I really dont like is people planning their team too seriously and playing because its playing. In all of my Pokemon playing history, I only used Pokemon I liked because they looked awesome or cute. One of the elite four said something like that. I have an Espeon, a Feraligatr, a Scyther, Arcanine and a Tyranitar. Also, in Pearl, without counting my pokemons like a level 10 meditite or level 3 starlie for HM, I used only TWO pokemons. Even against the elite four and the champion. Floatzel and Torterra. I also noted there are too much Psychic legendary pokemon.

I've beaten HG and started on White. Love it so far! I wish they didn't have so many....'unique' names, though. (For example: CONKLEDUR)

My only problem with Pokemon games through generations is that they barely innovate on the formula, barely make it exciting and barely change the graphics, the newest pokemon has a bunch of re-used assets from the 3DS era, where's the effort anymore? Games like Pokemon Stadium were amazing because of the dedication Nintendo put on it... With that said, Soul Silver was still a great game, latest I bought was alpha Sapphire

Oh yeah, Soul Silver was great. I touch it every once in a while to go back and shiny hunt, but of course you have to have the newest games to play competitively which is kind of fun....
