I am embarrassed to say this, but it was SAO. Luckily, I had some taste back then so I saw Death Note and a few other good shows back then. And now, I am constantly disappointed with people I know because most of them don't even know what Toradora is...

Well I kinda already had a history with anime due to stuff on toonami and adult swim, but what really got me hooked was watching Ranma 1/2 pretty much. It was basically the first anime that I watched subbed and then after that I just started seeking out more anime on the internet because 2006-Otakaiser was totally unaware that you could find entire anime series and stuff on the internet. An entire new world just suddenly opened up for me and then I started to spend countless summer nights just binge-watching anime. :u

Bleach, when it barely had arround 25~ episodes, a friend came to my house to lend me that new Simpsons DS game and also told me about Bleach lol it was funny who i didnt care about anime at all

Attack on Titan, back when the craze for it was high; saw it mentioned in some places and decided to give it a shot xd

Similar to Otakaiser growing up with toonami and adult swim, but like Nashor Bleach is what really drew me in.

Ranma 1/2 it pretty old school but I enjoyed it so much which got me really into anime from there on.

Oh man, we're talking over fifteen years ago... I can't say for certain, but I remember that watching Sailor Moon, Cyborg 009, Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho always came before getting my homework done when I was in grade school. Always. Or maybe it was Pokémon...
