I don't know if i chosen the right title for this question if you have a better title suggestion feel free to suggests it & i don't mind to re-post it & fix it if you think i should so to the heart of the matter there are some stuff about me that some people including my family including my parents & my friends & if you want to include girls & women then that's fine with me don't even know about me yet. As 1 of the many examples is that my mom don't know what is anime only then i say is that according to a none-anime fan they're cartoons & before you jump my throat stop just stop i know they're not cartoons they're anime and she asked are they movies only response i said was some are movies & some are series see i admit it's kinda hard to teach some people about my otakuness. Don't worry I'm not giving up what i love such as i love being a gamer,i love being a otaku & i love being a Final Fantasy fan/huge fan & don't worry i won't stop & i won't change so I'm asking all of you fellow otaku for tips & maybe some advice about how to teach others about my otakuness so i decided just say my family in the title unless you have a better idea for the title. So i end it here or at least for now thanks for reading, thanks for your time, thanks for your understanding & thanks for your help :).

Okay well for me it was easy because I had a cousin who actually helped me further my love for anime. As for explaining it to people just tell them it's shows because that's what they are. Japanese shows. People never think I'm the "type" to watch anime so it usually doesn't come out until they get to know me. I think you should just let people get to know you and let them figure out that you're into anime. It's just the easiest way tbh.

Why is there the need to teach/let them know about it? Trying to convert them? Very Wise Decision my friend, the anime/gaming industries need backers. I am very proud of you, my comrade. Anyway...give them what they find interesting. I'll use your mom as an example, you'd want to first show her a few good meaningful anime trailers for her to watch so that it might peak her interest and if she does like something then you can show her the episodes (DUBBED) and not (SUBBED) since first timers prolly wouldn't like reading while watching in most cases. Anime and Real live action movies are same as they both use imaginations to create stories, but the latter is more limited when trying to covey them to viewers. ...I don't know what I tam talking about.
